Come out and join us for a wonderful evening with our hosts Vince and Naomi Dispenza at the Medford Arts Center. It is a free event and will be a fun and exciting evening. Saturday, July 25, 4 – 7 p.m. Grand Opening Celebration of In Dreams Art Experience. Ironstone Village, 560 Stokes Road. Celebrate the Grand Opening of InDreams Art Experience with an unforgettable afternoon of creativity, music, and fun! Join us on Saturday, July 25th, as DJ EROCK brings the music to our outdoor patio while you enjoy open paint, canvas, and craft activities, including our Wood Crescent Moon Craft Inside, and a Free Open Paint Party!! The Open Studio and Splatter Paint Room will also be available throughout the event. Visit our fully furnished school house. Learn what education was like in a bygone era from our schoolmarms and docents.
Tuesday, August 4, 6 – 9 p.m. National Night Out. Freedom Park, 86 Union Street. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. The event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more. The Medford Township Police Department is excited for our upcoming National Night Out event. This is a fun-filled, family friendly, completely free event for the public. Cruise on down to see a rad lineup of classic cars, cool crafts, and local talent all gathered in one sweet spot. It’s the perfect chance to hang out, check out unique rides, and score some handmade goodies. This is an in-person event, so bring your friends, family, and good vibes for a fun-filled day. Saturday, August 22, 1 – 7 p.m. Main Street Block Party. Medford Main Street from the Mill to Tomlinson Park. Featuring face paintings, water activities, foam party, water balloons, chalk art, a magician, a balloon artist, and DJ Bennie. Contests and prizes: Medford’s Got Talent, Cornhole, Chalk the Walk, Pie-eating Contest, live music. Organized by Main St. Merchants of Historic Medford Village. Bracelets are required to participate in the events. Purchase bracelets online before the event: $10 a piece, or $30 for four bracelets, $40 for five bracelets. $15 day of the event.
