Who Can Submit?
Anyone may submit an original recipe to be considered for publication in the Lifestyle Magazine provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the recipe or the recipe is one of public access. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works.
General Submission Rules
Not all submitted recipes will be selected for publication. Donnelly.Media will select, in its sole authority, the submissions for publication. Submissions must be received on or before October 31 for consideration of publication.
Rights for Authors and Donnelly.Media.
In consideration for publication of the recipe, the authors assign to Donnelly.Media all rights in the submission, and agree to Donnelly.Media’s use of the submission in any way it chooses and in its sole discretion, including publication, print and/or digital.
No relationship.
The submission of a recipe to Donnelly.Media does not establish a relationship, employment, agency or any formal relationship between the submitter and Donnelly.Media. The submitter is not authorized to act on behalf of, or obligate Donnelly.Media in any way. The submitter is not for hire in any way and understands there is no compensation for the submission of the recipe.
Attribution and Usage Policies
Reproduction, posting, transmission or other distribution or use of the submission by Donnelly.Media is expressly authorized by the author upon submission.
Donnelly.Media will not be responsible for the storage, return and/or back-up of the submission.
The failure of Donnelly.Media to exercise or enforce any right or provision in the herein policies does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any term of these policies is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these policies remain in full force and effect.
It is expressly understood that Donnelly.Media has not created or reproduced any of the submissions and that the submitter is fully responsible for the submitted document/recipe. Further the submitter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold DMG harmless for any infringements regarding the submission.
