There’s something special about fall in Haddonfield—the crisp air, the changing leaves and the chance to slow down and appreciate the stories that make the town unique. In this issue of 08033 Haddonfield, we’re celebrating the people, places and pieces of history that continue to shape the community.

We’re excited to spotlight local author Pam Jenoff, whose compelling historical fiction has captivated readers and brought stories from the past to life (pg. 8). We also return with another installment of Sculpted Stories, featuring Boy Reading on Top of the World, the beloved bronze sculpture outside the Haddonfield Public Library that celebrates the simple joy of getting lost in a book (pg.5).

We also look back at an important moment in Haddonfield’s history with the unveiling of a new historical marker honoring Margaret Bancroft, recognizing her pioneering contributions to special education and the lasting legacy of the school she founded in Haddonfield in 1883 (pg. 14).

From inspiring authors and public art to the history woven into Haddonfield’s streets, this issue offers another opportunity to discover something new about the town you call home. As the season changes, we hope these stories encourage you to explore Haddonfield, revisit a favorite local spot and appreciate the people and traditions that make this community so special.

Happy fall and happy reading!
