St. Albert the Great Elementary School students took part in a service initiative at Father Judge High School as part of Catholic Schools Week.
Archbishop Nelson Pérez was in attendance, as students from 29 schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia packaged 1,500 care bags with non-perishable items for individuals served by Martha’s Choice, a Norristown-based food pantry. Handwritten notes with prayerful encouragement were included in the bags.
The bags consisted of pretzels, raisins, applesauce, nutri-grain bars, sunflower kernels, toothpaste, toothbrush and more. ••
