Hello 08037! I cannot believe the holiday season is here. It’s like we snapped our fingers and WHAM! But I have to say, I just love this time of year! All the festivities, the family time, the food, and warm holiday spirit make me smile. And as always, we are excited for you to check out our Holiday edition magazine dedicated to the lifestyle and community of Hammonton.
We start our issue with a living reflection with the bilingual program at the Hammonton Public School District. It has become a cornerstone of inclusion and community building, serving more than 350 multilingual learners from Pre-K through12th grade. Reflect on page 5.
Next we meet Benjamin Ott. He is a partner and wealth manager at Kingsview Partners helping clients “plan for a better future, together.” Ott is from Media, Pennsylvania, and his wife, Dr. Laurie Lemons, is from Hammonton. Together they decided to raise their four children in Hammonton because, as he was starting his new business, they wanted to have a close-knit network of family and friends nearby. Meet Benjamin and his family on page 8.
We round our issue at Southern Jersey Family Medical Center. They welcomed Tanner McKee, a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the American Cancer Society for a roundtable to discuss the impact of the NFL and American Cancer Society’s Crucial Catch initiative and what it means for their facility. McKee is an ambassador for the initiative. When he was 16, he was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. Join the roundtable on page 22.
