Aug. 5, 12, 19, 26 – 5:45 p.m. – English Conservation Group – Build your confidence in speaking English while meeting other adults in a casual learning environment. No registration is required.

Tuesday, Aug. 5
Annual National Night Out will take place at 5 p.m. at Penn Treaty Park. Join Community Groups, City/State offices, 26th District and others for fun, food and information sharing to promote community and harmony.

Wednesday, Aug. 6
The Fishtown Neighbors Association hosts monthly art club meetings for teen artists age 13 to 18 in and around Fishtown from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Shissler Recreation Center, 1800 Blair St., Philadelphia.

Local artists Corey Danks and Sarah MacAnulty will lead an evening of artistic expression and making friends. Participants will be provided with sketchbooks and art supplies as well as food and beverages. Sponsored by The Penn Treaty Special Services District.

Music in the Park

Summer Concert Series takes place at Konrad Square – 2200 E Dauphin St., Philadelphia – at 6 p.m. on the third Friday of each month through October. The event is free to attend. Bring a blanket, a picnic basket and enjoy the tunes.

Wednesday, Sept. 10

Twenty-plus businesses participating from venues, catering, bride and groom attire, wedding entertainment and more from 5 to 8 p.m. … couples can register on the Fishtown District Website.
